At least six people were killed in different areas of the city here on Thursday, police and rescue sources said. As per details, two young men were killed in Old Haji Camp area in the limits of Napier police station. They were identified as Owais, 22, and Asif, 25 who were resident of Garden area. Police said that both the deceased were kidnapped at 4:00 pm on Thursday from the same area.

Police said that unknown armed killed them near Nala Chowk, Old Haji Camp area with multiple gun fires. Sources said that deceased had also political affiliation. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. In another incident a man was gunned down near Imtiaz Super Market in the limits of Nazimabad police station. The deceased was identified as Bilal Madni, 30, son of Shaikh Mohammad.

He was resident of the same area. Police said that unknown armed riding motorcycle intercepted Bilal near Imtiaz Super Market and sprayed him with bullets as result he died on the spot. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. A body of a man, stuffed in a gunny bag, was recovered from Abul Hassan Isphani Road in the limits of Sachal Police station. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem examination.

A woman was killed by his husband over domestic dispute in Azam Basti area in the limits of Mahmoodabad police station. She was identified as Khadeja, wife of Sohail. Police said that woman was killed with sharp edge tool by her husband over some domestic dispute. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy. Separately, a three day old body of a man was found in Zia Colony near Bismillah Chowk in the limits of Pakistan Bazar police station. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained till filing of this report. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities.
